December 4 Stress Free Holiday Tips and Parent Panel

Don’t let the holiday season send you into an ASD tailspin. Come, listen and share with other parents some patent worthy survival tips! Get ideas on traveling GFCFSF, visiting family members who are unfamiliar with Autism, and preparing your child for a sensory overloaded holiday. We will be swapping recipes and success stories. Amazing baker Jaynell Hollis, owner of The Greenwood Kitchen, will be providing samples of awesome holiday breads, treats and other baked yumminess.

We will also have a parent panel to discuss various treatments that have benefited our children, some of our personal journeys and provide an overview of TACA’s new Autism Journey Blueprints.

January 8 Dave Terjanian, Psy.D

Strengthen Your Relationship

When one of our key volunteers suggested a meeting to help strengthen their marriage and in time for Valentine’s Day, well, we thought sure! And what a fantastic idea! That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Dave Terjanian.

Dave has been working with Life Counseling and Rehab After Work, providing psychological services for a variety of needs. He earned the Psy.D. from Antioch New England University, has an M.Ed., CAES from Boston College in School Psychology, and trained as an elementary school teacher at Gordon College.

Dave has been helping children, couples and families in the Main Line area for several years. He will be offering tips and strategies on keeping your marriage healthy and productive, during your autism journey. He will share useful insight for parents to remain a strong team, and share some personal stories on how to build your relationship while dealing with everyday stress. Dave will offer valuable information for those looking to begin, strengthen or save a relationship.
